Questions buyers ask before their first shipment

Everything about storage windows, inspection standards, consolidation, customs paperwork, payment and claims — answered plainly. If your question is not here, ask us on WhatsApp and we will add it.

Getting started

Do you really not charge anything upfront?

Correct. Receiving, 60-day storage, 1-on-1 inspection and photos are all free. Your first payment is the shipping fee — and only after you have reviewed the inspection photos and told us to proceed.

How do I get started?

Message us on WhatsApp. You get a personal inbound code within about 5 minutes; your suppliers write it on every label, and your goods are booked to your account the moment they arrive. No contract, no minimum.

Which platforms and suppliers can send to you?

Anything that ships inside China: 1688, Taobao, Tmall, Pinduoduo, JD, direct factory pickups and supplier deliveries from any manufacturing belt. You send from the seller side; we take it from there.

Is there a minimum order?

No. One carton or a full container gets the same process. Most people start with a small test order — that is how trust gets built.

Storage & consolidation

How long can you store my goods for free?

60 days from arrival, free. After that storage is charged at the rate on the pricing page, and we always warn you before the free window closes rather than invoicing you by surprise.

Can you combine orders from different suppliers?

That is exactly what we are built for. Goods from every factory belt arrive at the same dock and leave as one consignment with one invoice — which now matters even more, because customs charges are levied per shipment.

What happens if one parcel is late?

We hold the shipment and tell you the real position. You decide whether to wait for the straggler or send what has arrived and forward the rest later.

What happens to goods nobody claims?

We contact you repeatedly first. Unclaimed goods are handled exactly as set out in the refund and claims policy — published, not improvised at the last minute.

Inspection & quality

What does '1-on-1 inspection' mean?

Every single item is opened and checked against the listing — never a random sample. You get full-resolution photos (three per item as standard) plus an unboxing video, so you see what we see.

What if an item is wrong or damaged?

Send us the seller's chat and we coordinate the return on your behalf — free for the first 3 returns per month. Because everything is photographed on arrival, disputes are easy to win.

Do you measure furniture?

Yes. Dimensions and weight are recorded for oversized pieces, which is what your volumetric or CBM freight is calculated on — no guessing at the port.

Can you check goods before the seller's warranty window closes?

Yes, and we recommend it. Tell us the deadline when you order and we will prioritise the inspection so you still have time to claim.

Shipping & customs

How is the shipping cost calculated?

Parcels: chargeable weight is the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight (L×W×H÷5000). Furniture and bulk cargo go by volume (CBM) on sea freight. The estimator on the homepage gives a realistic range; the exact rate is confirmed in writing.

Do you quote DDP or DAP?

Both where available. DDP means duties and taxes are paid up front and nothing is collected on delivery; DAP means your broker handles clearance. On 2026 routes DDP is often cheaper than DAP once carrier brokerage is counted, so we show you the comparison rather than pushing one.

Who pays duty and tax?

The importer of record — normally you. Duty depends on the HS code, the origin and the destination's current rules, which is why we confirm the position before dispatch instead of promising a number that changes.

Is the $800 US de minimis still available?

No. De minimis ended for China and Hong Kong origin goods on 2 May 2025 and was suspended for all origins on 29 August 2025. US shipments now pay duty and need a customs entry. See the USA page for the current position.

Which goods can you not ship?

Batteries and battery-powered products, liquids and aerosols, counterfeit branded goods, and anything illegal in China or the destination. The full list is on the prohibited goods page — please check before you order, not after.

Payment & claims

When do I pay?

After you have seen the inspection photos and approved the shipment. We do not ask for a deposit to open an account.

How can I pay?

T/T bank transfer, PayPal and Western Union. Bank charges and any PayPal fee are shown on the invoice — no silent additions.

What if the shipment is damaged or lost in transit?

We open a claim with the forwarder the same day and keep you updated weekly until it is settled. Insurance limits and the claim window are published on the refund and claims page.
